VISION
Four basic functions of Consciousness include:
- to be (being)
- to do (doing)
- to know (knowing)
- to have (having)
all other functions are variations or combinations of these.
The four major abilities of Consciousness:
Attention
-the facility of being aware.

-the faculty of volition.

Retention
-the capacity of cognition.

Potention
-the capability of having experience.

Each of these abilities can be improved by:
Concentration- focusing, directing, aiming, etc.
Meditation- opening, centering, quieting, etc.

Concise definition of Consciousness
-the source of all experience including volition, cognition and awareness.
Common notions of Consciousness are:
- an epiphenomenon (e.g. a by product of the brain/body)
- a phenomenon (e.g. a process of the body/mind interface)
- a noumenon (e.g. a metaphysical mind/soul)
Every Life-Form consists of:
Spiritual Essence = powered by theurgy (the ability to create)
Fundamental Self = powered by synergy (the ability to transform)
Physical Substance = powered by energy (the ability to work)
